Meet Tyler Herron
Herron Home Energy is led by Tyler Herron, an InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspector (CPI®) and a Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certified Energy Auditor.
Tyler’s building-performance background adds a systems-based perspective to home inspections, with added context around insulation, ventilation, HVAC, moisture, comfort, and overall home performance.
Manufactured home foundation certifications are also available to document that a foundation meets applicable HUD standards.
The goal is simple: provide clear information, useful context, and professional service without unnecessary jargon.
Why the energy background matters
Homes work as systems.
The BPI background is added professional perspective—not the primary service. It helps connect visible inspection findings to the way the home performs as a whole.
Added context around attic conditions, insulation, ventilation, and comfort.
A stronger systems perspective when looking at accessible HVAC equipment and home performance.
Awareness of how moisture, airflow, insulation, and comfort can relate to one another.
A practical view of how building components interact instead of treating every system in isolation.
